You will notice that this file is unusually big and most likely double your normal windows folder. This is because it contains backups and system needed files.
So what do you do?
SOLUTION:
What I did is just used the standard disk cleanup utility in windows. To find it go to your \"My Computer\"
Then right click on the drive (normally C:) which has windows installed on it. Select properties. The you will see the \"Disk Cleanup\" button just below the pie graph.
Click that and select \"Files from all users on this computer\"
The you will be able to select what you want to clean as in the image below.
It freed a good 3.8GB for me. This is mainly cause shared files do not always get removed when you uninstall applications on windows.
STILL NEED MORE SPACE?
I have never found the windows \"system restore\" functionality very useful. So you can disable that to free up a good 5 - 10GB.
To do this go to your Desktop. Right click on my computer and select properties. Click on \"system protection\"
Then untick all your Harddrives to free up an inordinate amount of space. Also speeds up your PC quite a bit. See image below.
Hope this helps :)
